Downtown San Diego Lodge

Came in San Diego to relax and have fun, this low budget hotel was decent base for doing it. All of the staff were awesome, pleasant. Magnificent and convenient location close to San Diego Civic Theatre.

The room met requirements, large with an old pull-out couch. Everything seemed fine, fairly clean. We were met by professional, responsive personnel. The whole experience was really nice, no complaints, recommend.

Greatly enjoyed our stay, had great 4 days overall. The staff was welcoming on service. The shuttle to a train station was also a good thing. The venue's position was very central. Also, Un Gift Shop was 1.0 miles away😀

Overall, it's super base for exploring San Diego attractions. Central location close enough to Downtown San Diego as well as the beach and downtown clubs, and restaurants and bars are close to the hotel.

Very pleasant stay, fantastic place. The hotel itself was in a downtown area, very close to freeways and interstate 5 and downtown. The room was beautifully maintained, luxurious and the bed was very clean.

Wi-Fi was awful.

Superb base for discovering San Diego with consistently courteous staff on service. Perfect location, walking distance to San Diego Natural History Museum.

I loved my stay at this amazing hotel, brand-new rooms. The service was great and the staff were helpful. The location of the property was central, short walk to the centre.

The hotel was clean with accommodating staff on service. The rooms they offer were adequate and non-smoking with a good sized balcony and a fridge and an old pull-out couch.

It was tidy, the staff was highly professional, plus the service was attentive. There were outstanding butter, breads and eggs for breakfast. An amazing beach, pleasant view. Having different cold drinks in the juice bar was a very nice touch.

The breakfast was bountiful, the stuff was very efficient, the grounds where tidy. Unique and welcoming room plus perfectly clean bathroom. Lake view was amazing and balcony was big. Downtown San Diego district won't disappoint you. The airport was 0.5 km away from here, top location.

Absolutely perfect staff and an exceptionally good breakfast including variety of breads, eggs, milk, jam and butter. The rooms were cozy, there was a quiet bed. Lovely interior, awesome restaurant. I visited Empanada Kitchen, based just a walk down to the hotel, had dinner there.

i came here for 3 nights and had a very nice stay. it was a straightforward hotel - i enjoyed super friendly staff and easy location. the room was exceptional and the bed there was comfy. early check-in too.

The hotel was simple and I loved its okay facilities and staff. They made my stay really great. The area was sketchy. Venue's bar was small.

fabulous experience there. reception was wonderful. appreciated how the queen room was arranged when we arrived. it was tidy, and the beds where soft. a few steps away from the nice beach. took a walk around city centre, located relatively near the hotel.

Comfortable location, free breakfast, top-notch service and the staff was very competent. I appreciated a perfect decor and brand new furniture. There was a good pool on site too.

Cool and clean place. Rooms were extra comfy, with central heating, a seating area and a writing desk, exceptionally comfortable bed. Unbeatable location in San Diego. We liked the local cuisine in the restaurant.

Handy location, non smoking rooms, really comfy beds. Loved this property because the staff where happy to help. The rooms really clean. Very affordable hotel with perfect customer service. Need to be mentioned that it has free wifi throughout the property.

Everything was perfect for short stay. It was conveniently located. We ordered lunch at City Pizzeria, located a couple of blocks away the venue.

We cant wait to come back, as the hotel met what we needed. Take a look at Downtown San Diego district, its worth it...
